Aardvark Israel's Programs are all founded on three fundamental principles:

Immersion

Aardvark Israel is designed to immerse the students into Israeli society so that by the end of the program they won't feel like tourists.  The goal of the program is for participants to integrate with Israelis and Israeli society in order to become familiar with the cultural, linguistic, historical, and political realities of Israel.

Service

Participants volunteer or intern in a variety of Israeli organizations and companies, using their skills and talents in order to contribute to the betterment of Israeli society.

Learning

Exploring Judaism and Zionism through a dynamic learning program, both inside and outside the classroom, maximizes Aardvark participants’ experience in Israel.  Through a partnership with the American Jewish University in Los Angeles, students are able to earn university credit for their studies on Aardvark Israel.  The educational curriculum is designed to foster individual growth and strengthen the participants’ Jewish and Zionist identity.

The Goals of Aardvark Israel are for participants to:
